What the program is

RCA Property Management LLC sends text messages to current tenants about their own tenancy. There are two kinds, and no others:

• Rent reminders — a reminder seven days before rent is due, again three days before, one on the due date, and a notice if payment has not posted by the due date.
• Maintenance and appointments — confirmation that a repair request was received, the scheduled date and arrival window once a contractor is assigned, a reminder before the visit, and notices for property inspections required under the lease.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts on this program, and we do not text you on behalf of anyone else.

How you join

You opt in by ticking the text-message consent box and signing our lease application or lease agreement, next to the mobile number you want us to use. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of renting from us — decline the box and your application is treated exactly the same.

How often we text

It depends on your billing cycle and whether you have an open maintenance request. Typically four to eight messages per month.

Cost

We do not charge for the messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, depending on your plan.

Stopping the messages

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work the same way. Reply START if you want them back.

Opting out of texts does not change anything about your tenancy. You are still responsible for paying rent on time, and we will still reach you by email, post or phone.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not guaranteed to arrive, so please do not rely on it alone for anything time-critical — a reminder that fails to reach you does not extend a rent due date or excuse a missed appointment.

Your information

Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are used only to run this program. We do not sell them, rent them, or share them with third parties for marketing. Our full Privacy notice explains what else we hold and why.

Changes

If the program changes — different kinds of message, a different way of collecting consent — we will update this page before the change takes effect.
